Instruments are picked up & dropped off for repair at Traverse City Violin Co (3003 Garfield Road N, Traverse City). Instruments are picked up from TC Violin, examined at my home repair shop, and customers are contacted with assessment of needed repair and estimate of cost.

Paxman Horn bell repair

This Paxman horn fell and landed on the bell rim. The impact caused the bell flare to distort so badly that you can easily see the cupping of the flare’s threaded ring. After a lot of massaging metal around, it finally straightened out and could be threaded onto the horn again
